The Child and Family Research Partnership (CFRP) is an independent, nonpartisan research group at The University of Texas at Austin LBJ School of Public Affairs founded by Dr. Cynthia Osborne. CFRP specializes in collaborative partnerships and using academic research to help organizations understand what works and why, and how to ensure sustainable implementation of effective policies. Major research areas include early childhood investments, family supports, fatherhood, child welfare, and adolescent health. CFRP is also the home of the national Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center and the groundbreaking Prenatal-to-3 State Policy Roadmap policy guide. The mission of the Policy Impact Center is to build on the science of the developing child and use evidence to identify which state policies and strategies create the conditions all infants and toddlers need to thrive.
